Surviving the Mic reimagines healing space for sexual violence survivors
Surviving the Mic will host Survivors’ Revivals on the last Sunday of the month, starting April 30. The event will feature poetry, storytelling and meditation.
Surviving the Mic is led by Black femme survivors of sexual harm. After years of being volunteer-run, it’s now a nonprofit — allowing the group to start to reimagine how a healing art space can also function as a spiritual, church-like space.
