Owner Jerry Reinsdorf is expected to name Chris Getz as general manager and is reportedly considering moving the team from Guaranteed Rate Field when the team’s lease ends in 2029. A 2016 rebuild sought to change the trajectory of the South Side’s team, but that hasn’t happened.
