By Chip MitchellAbout 10,000 people marched in Chicago Saturday, demanding an immediate end to the war in Iraq and a cut-off of funding by Congress.
Protests in a dozen U.S. cities marked the fifth anniversary of a Senate vote authorizing President Bush to go to war.
In Chicago, protesters rallied in Union Park before marching to Federal Plaza for another rally.
Ambi: Hey, hey! Ho, ho! This occupation has got to go!
Many protesters said Democratic leaders in Congress weren’t doing enough to stop the war.

THINDWA: The Democrats will pay a very high price if they don’t act on the promise that they made to stop the war in Iraq and bring the troops home.
The speakers yesterday included three Democratic Congressmen who vowed to oppose more war funding without a formal withdrawal date.
Near Federal Plaza, a few dozen counterprotesters held signs urging soldiers to fight on.
