Last week, Illinois voters cast their ballots for state governor, attorney general, state representatives, and more. They also got to weigh in on a number of races for judges. And this year, the results broke from past trends. While judicial seats tend to be safe, a dozen candidates in contested primaries who had experienced bad press prior to primary day lost their races.
