UIC Nurses, Essential Workers Team Up For Strike

More than 800 nurses at UIC Medical Center walked out of work Saturday following the end of their contract. Today, members of SEIU Local 73 joined them on the picket line.

Reset is joined by WBEZ’s Kristen Schorsch and union leaders from the Illinois Nurses Association and SEIU to discuss the strike and what they hope to get out of it.
