Over two decades after the publication of Election, New York Times bestselling author Tom Perotta is revisiting the novel’s inimitable protagonist in his latest book, Tracy Flick Can’t Win. Tracy, who was brought to life by Reese Witherspoon in the 1999 movie adaption, is now an assistant principal at a New Jersey high school. Years after her run for school president, Tracy returns to high school politics by attempting to secure an open principal position.
