Since Thanksgiving is a week away, we are checking in with Nerdette’s “resident epidemiologist” Dr. Emily Landon. Covid numbers are back on the rise, and so are cases of influenza and respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV. Dr. Landon, who is an infectious disease specialist at the University of Chicago Medicine, says everyone needs to be wary of all three, especially because you can get multiple illnesses at once.
