There’s a high school in Chicago where the three most common languages spoken by students are English, Spanish and Swahili.

Nearly half of the student body at Sullivan High School in Rogers Park is made up of immigrant students, with at least 38 countries represented and 35 languages spoken. With many of the students are also refugees and the school has become a place for them to start over after sometimes harrowing journeys from faraway places like Syria, Nepal and the Congo.
