The 2020 presidential election may feel far, far away, but we’re just a few months from the Iowa caucuses in January, and the Illinois primary is one of the earlier ones. It falls on March 17th a.k.a St. Patrick’s Day next year.
Today is National Voter Registration Day, so we thought it’d be a good time to check in with Matt Dietrich, the public information officer for the Illinois State Board of Elections.
