Even though the mayoral race is more than eight months away, Mayor Lori Lightfoot already faces six opponents: former CEO of Chicago Public Schools Paul Vallas, 6th Ward Ald. Roderick Sawyer, 15th Ward Ald. Raymond Lopez, State Rep. Kam Buckner, businessman Willie Wilson and Chicago police officer Frederick Collins. If successful, Lightfoot would be the first woman to be reelected as Chicago mayor.

Reset gets the latest on the race.
