From a global pandemic, to a racial reckoning, to a historic and contentious election — the events of the past year have reshaped our society. Over the next few months, WBEZ’s Reset will re-imagine how the nation’s third-largest city could function better for all its residents.
We’re investigating how city government, investment, public safety and schools work — or don’t work — in Chicago, looking for solutions for how to improve those systems. And we want to hear your ideas, experiences and questions.
Starting June 7, we’ll take four weeks to evaluate how public safety works in Chicago, what hindrances there are to change and what we can learn from other cities. (Listen to the previous series on city government and investment.)
