Selah Freedom — a Sarasota, Florida nonprofit — provides safety for sex trafficking victims in the United States. Selah is a Hebrew word for “to pause, rest, and reflect.” The group spreads awareness, provides shelter, rehabilitation, and reduces incarceration for survivors.

For Worldview’s Global Activism segment, Selah Freedom president and CEO Elizabeth Fisher returns to update us on her work in the Chicago area with Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart, and her new partnership with the government of New Zealand. Selah Freedom will be featured on the PBS documentary series, “Visionaries.”
