Kim Reed

Kim is an experienced marketing and sales professional with over 18 years of industry experience. Having grown up on the south side of Chicago as a lover of local radio she considers herself fortunate to have worked for the very radio stations she grew up listening to.

Kim started her advertising career at Oldies 104.3 WJMK and over her career, has worked at WGCI, WVAZ and WPWX. She later transferred to Memphis, TN for three years, with Clear Channel properties before eventually coming back to Chicago on the Nationally Syndicated side with Reach Media. After exploring the agency side at Global 360 Marketing, Kim eventually moved into Education Admissions and Recruitment at Career Education Corporation where she was able to use her sales skills to benefit the organization.

Throughout her career, Kim has lived by the words echoed to her by a former sales manager… “Your name is all you have in this business and you must protect it.” That has been a guiding principle as she navigates the highs and lows of this industry. For me, a positive attitude is mandatory!

Kim is a graduate of Lewis University, where she majored in Radio/TV Broadcasting. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys doing community service, running and hanging with family and friends in her spare time.
