Jake Fenske

As the VP of Membership, Jake is responsible for individual giving across all channels for WBEZ and Chicago Public Media. He and his team manage all on-air fundraising, including pledge drives, direct mail, email and member services.

Jake recently returned to WBEZ after spending two years at Reckitt Benckiser (RB), leading CRM and digital media for the US Infant and Children’s Nutrition business. While there, he was responsible for all aspects of a consumer-centric CRM program, including email, direct mail, database operations, web and mobile app experiences.

Jake honed his digital marketing skills at Redbox and Hearst Digital Media, where he successfully developed omnichannel campaigns focused on driving customer acquisition and engagement. A native Oregonian, Jake came to the Midwest for college and never left; he lives in Oak Park with his husband, Ben, and their two French Bulldogs, Duke and Cooper.
