Stacey Brownlee supports CPM’s fundraising objectives by developing new prospect pools and conducting in-depth research on individual, foundation, and corporate giving prospects. Stacey’s 10+ years of development experience includes prospect development and research at Start Early, a nonprofit focused on early childhood education policy and practice. Equitable access to public education has been a focus of Stacey’s career since her first teaching job after college. She gained firsthand experience of public education abroad when a Sister Cities teacher exchange led her and her young family to Japan and Thailand for four formative years.
Stacey completed her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Iowa. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Stacey’s first fundraiser was a Bozo bucket game. (She was six.)
