Margeaux DeRaedt is a software engineer and creative. She joined Chicago Public Media in 2022 as a Fullstack Software Engineer in order to build a better audience experience. During college, Margeaux held jobs in IT before pursuing software engineering. She previously worked at an agency as a frontend engineer and completed many projects in the e-commerce and marketing space. She graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering Technology.
As a recent transplant from Ohio, Margeaux loves exploring Chicago and eating all the delicious food it has to offer. In her free time, she loves creating and enjoying music, writing, skating in all its forms, reading, and hanging out with her sweet cat, Lefty.
