Sylvia is a senior at Northwestern University where she studies journalism, business, and Middle East & North African studies. She has previously worked for The Chicago Tribune and The Louisville Courier-Journal as a reporting intern. She recently adopted a brown tabby cat named Mendy whose talents include fetch and extreme cuteness.
