Kiriana Mack-Hansen

Major Gifts Officer
As a Major Gift Officer, Kiriana works with some of Chicago Public Media’s most engaged supporters to align their philanthropic priorities with CPM’s essential programming and initiatives. Kiri is a lifelong NPR devotee and has been working in public media for more than six years—from coordinating 24 pledge drives at Ozarks Public Broadcasting to working in Major Gifts at St. Louis Public Radio. The urgent and essential mission of public media is what inspired Kiriana to join it, and she is especially inspired by those individuals who help make that mission possible.

Kiri grew up in Nashville and attended University of Pittsburgh, where she studied Art History, English Literature, and Italian. Prior to her career in public media, Kiri worked in curatorial departments at galleries and museums in Pittsburgh, London, and Missouri. When she’s not at work, Kiri enjoys traveling, working on her creative writing, seeking out the latest art exhibitions, and looking for the best places to do yoga. She obsessively collects vintage paperbacks and has a black cat named Shadow.
