As the Media Archivist, Justine works on the preservation and access of the content WBEZ has produced over their history. Previously, she served as the Photo Archivist for the Chicago Tribune and worked on audiovisual archival projects for museums and cultural institutions. She holds a BFA in Photography from the Corcoran College of Art And Design along with a Masters in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University.
While her work as an archivist focuses on media obsolescence and the shift from analog to digital, she also maintains a studio practice as a visual artist with a concentration on photography and painting. She loves to explore the Great Lakes and spends her free time trying to walk every street of Chicago.
