Joe Nolasco

Joe is a member of the Accounting team. He supports Chicago Public Media’s accounting team to ensure that company’s financial statements are accurate. While he is still in his earlier stages at CPM, Joe has learned a lot from his teammates and appreciates the culture of support on his team. He continues to learn new things everyday from his teammates and those around the organization.

While studying Finance at DePaul University, Joe landed his first Internship at Trustwave Holdings. He learned a lot about Accounting and, upon graduation, was offered a full-time role in the Accounts Receivable team at Trustwave. After a year, he decided to expand his responsibilities and joined SpotHero as a Staff Accountant. After many Month-End closes, Joe and his wife decided to move to Lyon, France to participate in volunteer work. They visited countries like Turkey, Morocco, Italy, England (twice), and Portugal while they were there. Upon his returned, Joe sought a Staff Accountant role in an industry he was passionate about, Media and Story-Telling. CPM was the perfect fit, and Joe continues to be grateful for the opportunity to work at such a wonderful organization.

Joe was born and raised in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, where he currently resides. Joe and his wife, Amelie, love to watch movies and are a professional photography team. They are looking to add a Corgi to their family this summer.
